Our Story
Born from a Belief That Connection Changes Everything
Chateau Margo exists because we believe that when people from different cultures, backgrounds, and traditions come together — something extraordinary happens.
How It Began
A Home Built on Exchange
Chateau Margo was founded on a simple but powerful idea: that the world becomes richer when we share it. What began as a small gathering of educators, musicians, and cultural practitioners has grown into a global network of changemakers united by a common purpose.
The name itself tells the story. Chateau — a grand gathering place, a home for all. Margo — a pearl, a bloom, potential in its purest form. Together, they describe exactly what we set out to build: a welcoming space where cultures meet, ideas take root, and people grow.
From our first cultural exchange residency to our expanding network of educational and musical programs, every project we undertake is guided by the same north star: human connection at the deepest level.

What We Stand For
Our Core Values
Community First
Every decision we make begins with the question: how does this serve our community? We are accountable to the people we work with and for.
Cultural Respect
We approach every culture with deep curiosity and reverence. Exchange is only meaningful when it is rooted in genuine respect and a willingness to learn.
Radical Inclusion
There is a seat at the table for everyone. We actively work to remove barriers — financial, geographic, linguistic — that prevent people from participating.
Growth Through Art
We believe art — music, storytelling, movement, craft — is one of the most powerful vehicles for personal and collective transformation.
Global Vision, Local Roots
Our programs are globally minded but locally grounded. We partner with communities on their own terms, honoring what makes each place and people unique.
Long-Term Impact
We are not interested in one-off events. We build lasting relationships, sustainable programs, and enduring change.
